The fund tracks as closely as possible the performance of the Bloomberg EuroAgg Treasury Index (total return) (the Index). The Index consists of fixed-rate, Investment Grade sovereign debt from member states of the European Union that are also participating in the European Monetary Union with a maturity of 1 year and above. The fund is passively managed and utilises an investment technique called optimisation, which seeks to minimise the difference in return between the fund and the Index by considering tracking error (the risk that the fund return varies from the Index return) and trading costs when constructing a portfolio. Income is reinvested into the fund.
